Head Start Giving Back to the Community and Supporting Local Non-Profit Organizations

The Program Improvement, Planning & Development (PIPD) Committee of Head Start/EHS of Fayette County initiates various "fun" raising activities that staff voluntarily participates in throughout the year. Through these activities, staff has given back to the community and supported local non-profit organizations including the March of Dimes March for Babies, the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days & Relay for Life, and Fayette County Family Fun Fest. Each month a different agency/organization is chosen as the recipient. Staff has generously donated to these worthy causes and done so on a strictly volunteer basis. It is our way or reaching out into our own community.
