Math Activity of the Month

Create your own Counting Book

Take construction paper and fold it in half to make a book
Staple the pages together or use a hole punch & string to tie the pages together
Write the numbers and number words on each page
Have your child write the numbers and number words on each page as you learn about those numbers
Have your child place a stamp or sticker to correspond with the number on each page (Ex: #3- 3 stamps or stickers)
After the book is complete, review counting and one-to-one correspondence with your child

Make your own playdough!!

2 cups Flour

1/3 cup Oil

1 cup Salt

1 cup Water

Mix all of the ingredients together. Add any flavor Kool-aid to have a different color playdough
