In the Classroom
- Child directed play
- Read or tell a story
- Work closely with one child
- Play a game
- Talk with a child
- Baby sit for another parent so that they can volunteer for Head Start
- Get materials ready to use for a project
- Play a musical instrument
- Lead a parade
- Give another parent a ride
- Help write, type or draw for the Head Starter, the family newsletter
- Repair toys, books, and other equipment
- Sanitize toys
- Help during tooth brushing time
- Help supervise on the playground
